The Vagabond Hotel Miami

My friend and I recently stayed here for an overnight trip. We loooovveee this hotel! From the vibrant, retro rooms, to the relaxing outdoor lounging areas, this place is a hidden gem. The bed was extremely comfortable and the hotel and surrounding neighborhood was very quiet. Lots of places to walk to in the area. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I've already started recommending this hotel to friends. I would definitely stay here again.

We hit the jackpot in Miami. Right in the historic district sits this impeccably restored hotel that feels like a hidden treasure. The moment you walk in, you’re transported to another era — timeless style, classic details, and that unmistakable old-Miami charm. The pricing is shockingly fair for what you get. The staff? Gracious, attentive, and genuinely happy to help with anything. And the pool and outdoor space — pure vintage glamour. Stunning, serene, and the kind of setting that makes you forget the rest of the world. This place isn’t just a stay — it’s an experience.

From the minute you walk in the staff were super friendly especially Billy! We arrived early and they were more than happy to store our luggage and allow us to change and use the pool facilities. The hotel is exactly like the pictures. Would highly recommend for a short or long stay!

I never leave reviews but I felt compelled after staying at Vagabond. After a cancelled flight, I was lucky enough to snag a room here and stay for 4 nights. The hotel is quiet and calm - the rooms are spacious and modern. I was floored by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Billie and Mae were so kind in helping me secure a room and were extremely comforting after a stressful travel day. Highly recommend based on staff alone. Great pool and lots of amazing food in walking distance.

Spent two nights here. Fantastic, friendly staff at the Vagabond. Great communication. The hotel is a great example of Miami Modern design. Pool was warm and a delight to swim in. Highly recommended. Tiny gripe is that we missed having a mini-fridge in the room but no big deal.

The Vagabond hotel is very cute! The owners are onsite daily and seem to really care about the space. We especially enjoyed the poolside patio and only wish we visited during ON season so we could enjoy the poolside bar. The pool is heated and perfect for the cooler winter temps. No hot tub that I could see. Our room was very clean and the mattress firm and new - no divets! The shower was spacious and new. The room came with two freshly laundered bathrobes. The lobby had great coffee! There are tons of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Ideal spot.

What started as a last minute one-night booking turned into an 11-day stay. From the very beginning the staff were very welcoming and helpful. This is a really well-run motel-like hotel. I especially want to thank Lance and Linda for their attention to detail towards my unusual needs during this stay. The rooms are clean and spacious and have been updated to a modern Miami vibe. The pool area is serene. The location was great for me and you can use Uber to reach many of Miami's attractions within 10-30 minutes depending upon the time of day. I will definitely return when the need arises.

The Vagabond is a hidden gem! Love its old-school motel vibe, love that it's an historic property that was saved, love that it's now updated and clean and fresh. The pool area and landscaping are super-pretty. There are some great dining options within walking distance. And the staff, Billie especially, is terrific! Overall, scores major value points.
